It was a shame I had to start work this morning. A quick walk around the building before 8 am turned up 8 species of moth.

Sunshine Beauty

Insects of Bowesfield Marsh

A walk at Bowesfield Marsh on Saturday 5th June 2010, produced good summer migrants such as Grasshopper Warbler, Reed Warbler and Sedge Warbler. The insects also enqjoyed the sunshine.

Wall Brown

Approximately seven Wall Brown butterflies were flying at RSPB Saltholme on 31st May 2010.
