Yesterday afternoon we went to Hartlepool Headland to see two Shorelarks that had been spotted.
On the way home we stopped at Newburn near Seaton Carew. Although the wind had a chill, the sun was shining and the seascape towards Hartlepool Headland could have been a summer's day. As the time ticked on and the sun was setting a few waders flew in to roost as the Turnstones' looked for the left over crumbs dropped from the parked cars.
