Went out birdwatching this afternoon around Teesmouth. First stop was Dorman's Pool where I spotted a Little Egret, 6 Pintails, Lesser Black-backed Gulls and a Little Grebe. After leaving Dorman's I went down the Zinc Works Road looking for any early spring migrants, but it was very quiet.
On the way home I stopped at Holme Fleet. As I sat watching the birds I spotted a Roe Deer over the road near the Long Drag. It is the first time I have seen a deer on the Long Drag.
2011 Year = 110 (Little Grebe & Lesser Black-backed Gull)
